'Rx' Mixed Pairs Competition

We are very excited to welcome back our ‘Rx’ competitions in February 2022. We will kick things off with a mixed sex pairs competition on Sunday 27th February.

The number one priority for our competitions is for everyone to have a super fun experience and to leave feeling very accomplished and motivated.

With this in mind, we would recommend at least one of your team is proficient enough at each of the movements you’d expect to see in the CrossFit Open and to be able to attempt the workouts as prescribed.

You can expect:

  • Gymnastics movements in workouts including Pull Ups, Chest-to-Bar, Bar Muscle Ups, Toes-to-bar, Handstand Push-ups, Handstand walks, Box Jumps @ 24/20″.
  • Barbell cycling in workouts at 42.5/30kg and above (including all Olympic Lifting variations – Squat Snatches and Squat Cleans)
  • Dumbbells in workouts at 22.5kg / 15kg.
  • Double Unders.

As long as one athlete in your team is proficient at each of the above you’ll be able to attempt the workouts and have a lovely time.
